Cyberpunk 2024: USDG?

A universal decentralized inflation adjusted digital currency. This has to be an entire economy of it's own and it  took a full stack of the most brilliant nerds in the world to create a digital currency that's already hashed out more value than the US Dollar.

You don't see anything like USDG in the cyberpunk genre as it's contrary to the warning of a centralized system intended to control the populace. Is an economy that we can all participate in and thrive in our own damn ways that much to ask for?

The best part is that USDG will become the world's largest decentralized computer network, a portal to the liberated cyberspace many of us have long dreamed about.
